PM Modi Slams Opposition in Bihar: ‘Parivaar Ka Saath, Parivaar Ka Vikas’

Prime Minister Modi Accuses RJD and Congress of Dynasty Politics, Disrespecting Babasaheb Ambedkar

In a powerful address in Siwan, Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi intensified his attack on the opposition, particularly the RJD and Congress, accusing them of promoting dynastic politics and showing blatant disregard for Dalit icons like Babasaheb Ambedkar. Echoing BJP’s developmental pitch, he framed the opposition’s ideology as one of “family-first, nation-later.”

Modi, known for sharp political messaging, coined a new phrase that drew sharp contrast between his governance model and that of the opposition:

“Unka ek hi motto hai – Parivaar ka saath, parivaar ka vikas.”

This twist on his own “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” slogan framed the INDIA bloc parties—particularly RJD and Congress—as parties obsessed with family rule and personal legacy over public service.

Modi Accuses RJD, Congress of Dynasty Politics and Disrespecting Dalit Icons

Addressing a charged crowd in Siwan, PM Modi pulled no punches. He reminded the audience of a recent incident that stirred controversy across India:

“The whole country saw what the RJD did to Babasaheb’s photo recently… I know that these people will never apologise because they have no respect for the Dalits and the backwards. RJD and Congress place Babasaheb’s photo at their feet while Modi keeps him in his heart.”

The Prime Minister’s words struck an emotional chord, especially in a state like Bihar with a large Dalit and backward class population. His remarks were aimed at exposing what he described as the hollow social justice narrative of the opposition, while reinforcing his government’s commitment to constitutional values and empowerment of marginalized communities.

He also connected this disrespect to the wider pattern of political hypocrisy seen among opposition leaders who use Dr. Ambedkar’s name for votes but fail to honor his legacy in governance. By contrasting BJP’s inclusive politics with what he called the “family-centered mindset” of RJD and Congress, Modi sought to highlight the moral and ideological bankruptcy of the INDIA bloc.

This criticism gains significance amid growing anger among SC/ST and OBC groups over the symbolic use of Ambedkar’s name by parties that have long claimed to be champions of social justice but allegedly failed to deliver results on the ground.

Development Versus Dynasty: Modi Positions NDA as People-Centric Alternative

Beyond criticism, PM Modi used the platform to reaffirm the NDA’s developmental agenda. He emphasized how BJP and its allies have transformed Bihar’s infrastructure, expanded social welfare schemes, and empowered women, youth, and the poor through corruption-free governance.

From rural electrification to healthcare facilities, Ujjwala gas connections, and the PM Awas Yojana, Modi stated that NDA’s model is based on nation-first thinking, unlike the opposition which, he claimed, still functions as private companies of political dynasties.

Modi’s remarks weren’t limited to Bihar. They were a national message aimed at first-time voters and fence-sitters, urging them to reject parivaarwad (dynasty rule) and choose a leadership that delivers.
    He reiterated:

“They only unite to protect their families and their corrupt legacy. For them, politics is inheritance. For us, it is service.”

The speech in Siwan further sharpened the battle lines between the NDA and INDIA bloc, especially as Bihar remains a key swing state in the run-up to the 2025 general elections. With every visit, the Prime Minister is reinforcing BJP’s narrative of performance versus entitlement, people’s power versus family power.

PM Modi’s latest speech in Bihar combined emotional symbolism, ideological clarity, and political aggression. His framing of the opposition as anti-Dalit and dynastic, paired with his own government’s development record, presents a compelling electoral pitch. With phrases like “Parivaar ka saath, parivaar ka vikas” and “Babasaheb in their feet, Babasaheb in my heart,” Modi has set the tone for a high-stakes ideological battle that goes far beyond Bihar.
