Baloch rebels intensify insurgency with attacks and statements warning of Pakistan’s global risk, nuclear threat, and destabilizing role in South Asia. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a prominent group in the Balochistan insurgency 2025, issued a forceful statement following a series of coordinated attacks across Balochistan. In what it called a global warning, the BLA statement declared: “If Pakistan continues to be tolerated, its very existence may lead to the ruin of the entire world.”

The BLA accuses Pakistan of being a breeding ground for global terrorism, blaming the state for sponsoring extremist networks and threatening international peace, especially due to Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal. The statement urges the international community — particularly India — to provide political, diplomatic, and defense support. The BLA stressed that its struggle for an independent Balochistan is not a foreign proxy war but a legitimate separatist movement.

The group insists that Pakistan should be recognized as a terrorist state and claims that Pakistan’s peace gestures are tactical deceptions meant to mislead the world.

What Are the Details of the BLA’s Operation Herof 2.0 Attacks?

The BLA has significantly intensified its campaign through a large-scale military offensive called Operation Herof 2.0. This follows weeks of attacks under the initial Operation Herof phase. According to the BLA, more than 71 attacks were carried out across 51 locations, including:

    • Pakistani military and intelligence posts
    • Police stations and checkpoints
    • Mineral transport convoys
    • Strategic roads and communication infrastructure

The methods used included IED blasts, insurgent ambushes, sniper fire, and targeted killings — classic guerrilla warfare tactics aimed at weakening the state’s military capacity.

In Operation Herof 2.0, the group coordinated seven new high-impact strikes, aiming to showcase improved coordination and battlefield readiness. The BLA claims these attacks are both offensive operations and tactical drills to prepare for larger confrontations.

What Are the Broader Implications for South Asia and Global Security?

The BLA’s narrative is not only regional but increasingly global in scope. By declaring that Pakistan poses a nuclear risk and enables terrorism, the BLA is framing its struggle as a key front in the fight against regional destabilization. Its warning that “Pakistan is a threat to world peace” comes amid heightened India-Pakistan military escalation. The Baloch rebels’ call for international support — especially from India — reflects their strategic effort to reposition the Baloch conflict as a major South Asia security threat.

Additionally, the BLA’s rejection of foreign proxy allegations and emphasis on being a decisive actor in shaping South Asia’s new order signals its intent to influence regional geopolitics. The Baloch independence struggle 2025 is now closely tied to wider concerns about Pakistan terrorism allegations and nuclear instability in the region.
